“According to my calculations, those beast cores that were given during the previous Trial at the Deragon residence must be depleted by now. Am I right?” said Mr. Sanders.
“That’s right. The resources received by the various sects have all been used up. But, the resources have also allowed their powers to increase by many folds!” replied Xavier as he nodded.
“Yes, looks like the current peaceful situation is about to come to an end. Without resources and benefits, the Warriors Alliance will not be able to control these people from the martial arts world of Jadeborough… Just keep a close watch on all of them. Regardless of what happens in the martial arts world during this period, do not intervene,” instructed Mr. Sanders.
“Yes, sir!” Xavier then nodded before turning around to leave.
However, just as he reached the door, Xavier stopped in his tracks and turned to look at Mr. Sanders. Xavier looked like he wanted to say something but was hesitant.
“Get straight to the point…” said Mr. Sanders with his eyes still shut.
“Mr. Sanders, is Jared really dead? It has been such a long time, and New Year’s is already over. Yet, there is still no sign of him. I doubt he made it.”
The suspicion that Jared was still alive had once crossed Xavier’s mind. However, it had been a long time, and the former did not even show up for New Year’s. It was highly possible that Jared was really dead this time.
“Only time will tell whether Jared is dead or not. However, it isn’t that time yet,” Mr. Sanders responded casually.
When Xavier heard that, he let out a sigh and left.
