Chapter 1380 Terrified
“Terrified?” Jared asked indifferently. “Terrified? Of what? I’m not scared of anything, especially a loser like you,” Tobias replied disdainfully.
“Since you’re not afraid, why are you using the girl as your shield? Are you bold enough to battle with me openly? Just the two of us. And nobody is allowed to lend a hand.” Jared put forward his request calmly.
“Sure! I’ll take you on single-handedly.” After saying that, Tobias pushed Millie away. Fortunately, Jared caught her and handed her over to Cecilia. “Step back, you two. I must get rid of him today.”
Cecilia stared at Jared with concern. “Please be careful.” “Don’t worry, Lady Jingle. Jared is a blessed man. Nothing untoward will happen to him.”
Flaxseed was aware of what Jared had been through for the past few days. He has made tremendous improvement! Soon, Cecilia and the others retreated, leaving Jared and Tobias on the battlefield.
“I’ll kill you today!” announced Jared as he cast a look at Tobias. “Hmph! It’s still too early to claim victory.”
With that, Tobias exuded a massive malicious aura. Instantly, the surroundings looked as if a whirlwind was passing by, causing the crowd’s clothes to flap noisily in the air.
The earth shook unexpectedly while the pebbles were swept off the ground and into the air, enveloping the sky and blocking out the sun.
Even so, Jared remained unperturbed as he stood there, looking composed and did not even bat an eyelid.
“The Soaring Hawk!” Tobias exclaimed before jumping into the air like a magnificent eagle.
He loomed over Jared for a moment before launching an attack on his head.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
His hand whooshed in the air with a petrifying whiz.
Each strike was so powerful that it was sufficient to punch through at least five big holes in any layer of metal walls.
Jared calmly lifted his head, moved his palms, and delivered a menacing blow at his opponent.
Huff!
Suddenly, an insane gust of howling wind swirled from his move and turned into a violent hurricane.
Jared’s palm was smashed into Tobias’ following a sickening thud.
Instantly, the impact of the strong force was so immense that it made the latter imbalance.
Startled, Tobias stumbled backward.
He gazed at Jared incredulously, his eyes full of disbelief.
It has only been several days, but Jared’s strength has improved significantly!
Even though Tobias did not exert all of his strength to hit Jared, he was taken aback by how easily Jared dodged the attack.
“The Kracken!”
Subsequently, Tobias crisscrossed his palms across his chest, releasing several transparent claw energies, which he directed at Jared.
The sharp glow from the ferocious ball of energy glinted across the air and produced a deafening noise.
Within moments, the claw energy appeared in front of Jared.
This time, Jared did not move a muscle. A ray of golden beam emanated from his body, and scales started forming all over him.
With that, he had activated Golem Body.
It was a blinding sight, as his Golem Body was even brighter and more dazzling when compared to the sunlight.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Tobias started striking Jared with his powerful claw energy, leaving multiple white marks on the latter’s Golem Body. Yet, he still could not break through the Golem Body.
Tobias was utterly flabbergasted.
How many days has it been? How did Jared improve his caliber all of a sudden? Tobias could not wrap his head around it.
Cecilia and the others, who were standing nearby, were also shocked to the core.
The table has completely turned within days! From the way Jared fights, he seems to be able to defeat Tobias now.
Flaxseed was the only one with sparkles in his eyes. Staring at Jared intently, he mumbled, “This man isn’t an ordinary person. He’s not a mere mortal…”
