Chapter 1270 Die Together
“Uh, I have never told you about it.” Rayleigh seemed flustered as Melanie exposed him immediately. He stuffed his phone into his pocket hastily.
He didn’t want Lizbeth to discover that Jared was dead, as the blow might be too big for her to bear. As Rayleigh seemed unsettled, Lizbeth asked, “Mr. Deragon, are you hiding something from us? Why did you put your phone away?”
“N-No, I did nothing of the sort,” Rayleigh explained hurriedly.
When Rayleigh wasn’t paying attention, Lizbeth quickly fished his phone out of his pocket.
She unlocked his phone and saw the news that David had taken Jared’s life. At once, she froze in her tracks.
She couldn’t believe that, but the sight of the photos caused her to collapse to the ground. It was as though her soul had been sucked out of her body.
The phone dropped to the ground as Lizbeth stared ahead in a daze.
She refused to believe it.
“No, this is not true. It’s not true!” Lizbeth declared before she broke into tears.
Lyanna and Melanie comforted her hastily. However, they both fell silent after learning that Jared was killed.
Jared’s death had dealt a huge blow to them.
Rayleigh was still sobbing silently. He did not know how to comfort the girls.
Everyone cried for so long until their tears were dried up.
Slowly, Lizbeth got to her feet. Her eyes were dry as they flashed with murderous intent.
“I shall kill everyone in the Norton family to avenge Jared so he can rest in peace!” She gritted her teeth as a dangerous aura swirled around her body.
“Lizbeth, calm down. Jared isn’t David’s match. You’re only seeking death!” Rayleigh advised her.
“Jared’s dead, so there’s no point for me to live on. If I can’t avenge him, I’ll take my own life! I don’t want him to be lonely,” Lizbeth declared in a cold tone.
She was no longer a frail woman but a machine devoid of emotion, wanting to take revenge.
“Lizbeth, I’ll go with you,” Lyanna told her.
“Me, too! Count me in,” Melanie chimed in.
Rayleigh let out a long sigh as he glanced at the three ladies.
He offered, “I shall accompany you to Jadeborough then. However, you can’t act recklessly if you want to avenge Jared.”
As they had made up their minds, Rayleigh decided to take them back to Jadeborough.
They would do everything in their power to avenge Jared!
In Village of Villains, Leviathan flew into a fit of rage after he learned that Jared had been killed.
He found the news shocking, but the gory photos of Jared posted on the martial arts forum were pretty convincing.
Leviathan’s Shadow Estate was one of the regiments of the Dragon Sect. Now that the overlord, Jared, was dead, he was bound by duty to avenge his death.
“Mr. Chance, don’t worry. I shall avenge you!” Leviathan declared as a wintry glint appeared in his eyes.
Colin’s eyes were red from crying. Clenching his jaw, he said, “Dad, let’s bring our men to the Norton residence to avenge Jared!”
“We’re no match for the Norton family. After The Villainous Four recover and come out of seclusion, we shall attack the Norton residence together! As long as I am still alive, I shall do my best to destroy the Norton family!”
Leviathan knew well that they weren’t capable enough of seeking revenge for Jared.
The Villainous Four were recuperating in Pentacarna Tower. After they came out of seclusion, Leviathan wanted to join forces with them and attack the Norton family together.
Even if they had to risk their lives, they would drag the Norton family down in order to avenge Jared.
