Chapter 1267 Illusion
Another lightning tribulation struck Jared’s body. It was so terrifying that Cecilia was sent flying backward. “Quick, hide in the room!” Jared roared.
Startled, Cecilia ran into her room hastily. After the two lightning tribulations struck Jared, his body was burnt to a crisp. The Nascent Soul within Jared’s body glowed brighter.
Jared’s entire being was covered in a golden glow. The black stuff on his body started peeling off. The wounds and scars on Jared’s body had all disappeared.
Right then, Jared’s skin was fairer than newborns as though he had been reborn.
Inside the room, Cecilia gaped in shock.
Jared tried to control his body so he could stand up.
Soon, he was able to move his hands and legs. Jared could finally stand up.
He was radiant and glowing.
The moment he stood up, he sensed a cooling sensation down below. Looking down, he nearly got the shock of his life when he realized he was stark naked.
Jared noticed Cecilia was looking at him through the window and nearly died in embarrassment.
His fingers moved to create an illusion that hid him completely.
Jared couldn’t stand being watched when he was naked.
Besides, he needed to focus on the lightning tribulation.
Soon, dark clouds gathered, signifying the arrival of the third lightning tribulation.
Rumble, rumble!
The third lightning tribulation arrived. A bolt of lightning darted out of the dark clouds as though it was a slinky snake and crashed into Jared’s body forcefully.
Even Crimson Palace was shaking from the impact of the lightning tribulation.
Many people were jolted awake from their sleep.
Staring at the scene outside, they dared not step out of their room. They had no idea why the weather suddenly turned so bad late at night.
They didn’t know that Jared was the cause.
The lightning tribulation struck Jared and increased the golden glow on his body.
The Nascent Soul seemed to be growing as it was two times bigger than before.
Rumble, rumble!
Another lightning tribulation arrived.
Jared folded his legs and shut his eyes. Using his spiritual sense, he observed Nascent Soul quietly instead of checking his body.
As long as his Nascent Soul remained intact, he wouldn’t die. Even if his body were to rot and disappear, he could recover slowly.
Crack!
The lightning tribulation that contained the energy of heaven and earth landed on Jared’s body yet again.
Each lightning tribulation’s power was stronger than the last.
The golden glow in Jared’s body would fix his skin and his flesh the moment they were torn apart.
Fortunately, Cecilia couldn’t see him as he had formed an illusion. Otherwise, she would be shocked to see him in that condition.
Rumble, rumble!
A total of ten lightning tribulations struck Jared.
Soon, the black clouds in the sky faded away, signaling the end of the lightning tribulations.
However, Jared wasn’t pleased with the ten lightning tribulations that landed on him.
The stronger the lightning tribulation was, the better it would be to fortify Jared’s body.
“I need another lightning tribulation!” he declared.
Lifting his head, Jared waved his right arm and shot a golden light to the black clouds.
The black clouds soon gathered together again.
After whizzing around in the black clouds, the golden light came back to Jared.
Jared was using his strength to create a lightning tribulation. If someone else were to witness that scene, they would drop their jaws wide in amazement.
Many feared losing their lives when their lightning tribulation came, for they could be pulverized by the lightning that struck them.
