“ They were sold yesterday. Gabriel has gone to get more”
“ Damn it, was fawn one of them?” I asked.
“Yes, there was a bidding war for her.”
“ Do you remember what Alpha bought her?” I asked.

I was shocked that he was one of Black’s and my alliances.
I mind linking Austin, who is with everyone else ready to attack.
“Melody is here. I am with her in her room.”
I told him the others were sold, and Gabriel was not there.
We decided to attack anyway and take out the whole pack. I can not leave Melody here and come back. I, Austin, and Caleb will stay and wait for the return of Gabriel and finish him off.

I rush downstairs just as my pack attacks.

“ Yes, you are you a*****e,” I shifted in mid-air and attacked Alpha Mendoza before he could do anything. Once he is passed out, I take him to his own dungeons and chain him up, then return to the battle. I spotted Payton’s wolf and ran to her,
“Shift Payton”
She shifts in front of me, and Maverick is there in a flash with a shirt.
“ Melody is on the 3rd floor. The door on the right she is hiding in the closet. Go get her, Payton; we will handle this.”
“ Thank you, Greyson,” she said.
“ GO,” I shifted and took out the wolf that was coming at us, and I ripped the throat out of the wolf. I watched Payton enter the house. Since Maverick is in my family, I can mindlink him.
“Mav go protect Payton and Melody.”
I saw his head snap towards the house and then take off after Payton. My pack, the black pack, and the other 2 packs with us rip the Lobo Pack apart, leaving no man alive. Within 40 minutes, the field lay silent and filled with blood and body parts. I bark off orders, and everyone scatters to do them.
“ Jaxson, James Austin, and Caleb, come with me,” I said.
We head towards the packhouse to make sure Melody and Payton are OK. As we reach the house, out steps Payton with Melody and Maverick behind them.
“Everyone OK,” I asked.
Payton nods her head, and her family engulfs them, taking Melody from her in an embrace.
“Melody, are you sure about the name of the Alpha who has Fawn?” I asked her.
“ Yes, Sir, Alpha Walters bought Fawn and her friend Dixie. There were two new Alphas from the states that were here, and they bought Anna from the Blood River Pack, “
“ Thank you, sweetie. You have been a big help.”
“I failed, Mommy,” she says.
“ What? Sweetie, what are you talking about?”Payton asks her
“ I promised the girls we would get out of here.” She says
” I promised them I would help them, and I failed.”
I walked over and took Melody from Payton and turned her to look at me.
“ You listen to me, Melody. You have not failed; you just gave me the information about where they are. You are still helping them now by helping me, helping us get to them, and bringing them home as well. So no, you did not fail; you have kept your promise.” I told her.
She wraps her arms around me and hugs me.
“Thank you”
I hugged her back and looked at Payton.
“Payton take her home.”
“ NO,” said Melody.
“ I am staying and helping. I promised those girls I would help them, and that is what I am going to do.”
After 20 minutes of everyone arguing with her, we all gave in and let her stay. She is like her mother.
“MELODY” We all turn and see Cole running towards us.
“I missed you so much, Mel. Are you OK? Did they hurt you?”
“No, they never touched me.”
Melody filled everyone in on why she was not sold like the other girls were.
“ OK, listen, we still have to deal with Gabriel; he is out getting more girls to sell as we speak.”
“And Santo,” Melody says.
“Santo?” I ask
“His cousin, the one who told me his name was Reggie.”
“ OK, so there are two more to deal with and new girls to save as well.”
I told everyone where to set up and wait while James and I headed to the dungeons to wake up and get answers from Mendoza.
